Chrysler issues six recalls affecting 119,000 to 46 vehicles

This could cause the airbags to malfunction and light up the airbag warning light, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.Chrysler is also recalling 61,409 model year 2007-2008 Dodge Nitro 4X2 vehicles made between March 21, 2006 and March 1, 2008 and 2008 Jeep Liberty 4X2 vehicles made between Feb. 15, 2007 and March 1, 2008 due to a problem with a transfer case heat shield that could drop on the drive shaft, which could set up a chain reaction.
