Dwyane Wade received a lot of criticism for this statement and rightfully so. Just a day later though,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the one-time NBA champion and gold medalist reversed his statement by saying the following about being compensated for playing in the Olympics for Team USA:
The debate over whether or not NBA players should be paid to participate in the Olympics will continue to rage on,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it has created some interesting conversations about the topic with some solid points on both sides of the argument.
Once again,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Kobe Bryant will represent the United States this summer alongside the likes of Dwyane Wade,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], LeBron James,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant in an effort to win a second gold medal with Team USA.
