The problem with showing off a new pair of lightweight shoes is that seemingly every possible way to promote a shoe's lack of heft has been done before. Leave it to Rockport to take things to the next level by hosting a giant street installation in the middle of New York City with people just floating in mid-air wearing their brand new truWALKzero shoes.
Well, the people are not really floating in mid-air. This is actually the work of famed performance artist Johan Lorbeer and his team of actors harnessed to the installation in a way that they appear to just among the clouds.
The truWALKzero utilizes adidas adiPRENE technology that provides cushioning but also a springing feel to their step. For its Spring 2012 collection,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Rockport is gearing up for the global launch of its newest footwear styles for men and women this month: truWALKzero.
truWALKzerois the culmination of years of research and testing, and is one of the lightest shoes that Rockport has ever designed. The truWALKzeroWingtip is a dressier low profile, lace-up sneaker for men with wingtip detailing, available in black/charcoal and dark brown/orange.
